LOVECB's goal is to impact our community through outreach, worship and prayer events in our community with multiple area churches in Council Bluffs.

Outreaches

We had great turnouts at Bayliss Park the last few summers! Several churches and people participated in lifting up our city in prayer. The prayer leaders are anointed and lead us in powerful prayer and declarations. Thank you for showing up and joing us in worship and prayer! It's been glorious and the Lord is magnified. Check out our Facebook page for the livestreams.

We will continue worship in the park in 2024.  Our first event will be held May 2 for the National Day of Prayer . Our focus will be on our country and upcoming elections. Please come out and join us as a community of churches worshipping and praying together! First Baptist Church will lead worship for us.

We are continuing the 9 zone prayer initiative this year.  Please see the Prayer Initiative tab for more information on the zones.  Please consider joining others in any particular zone and pray over that zone at your own convenience.  We will have group chats to connect with others that join you in prayer  for your zone.

The second event will be held on June 6 with a focus on the community's families, strengthening marriages, parenting and children.  The third event will be held July 11 with a focus on our city, government, employment, and the safety of our children.  The fourth event will be held on August 8 with a focus on our schools and students. Our last event for 2024 will be held on September 12 with a focus on our street population, addictions, mental healthand the different groups that serve them.

Farmers Market is at Bayliss Park on all these outreaches which gives the church many opportunities to bless those who are attending.

Please consider joining us! Send an evangelism team, youth ministry, team evangelism or prayer team from your church. Psalm 133 tells us that the Lord will command the blessing as we work together to bless our community!
